Wilson, always one for logic and reason, rarely makes a statement or request that isn't followed by a "because . . ." For example. I'll just put these toys on the stairs because I'm not going to my room right now or Can I have some candy now because I ate all my breakfast or No, I don't have to go to the bathroom right now because I'm going outside and I can just go out there if I need to. Mind you not always MY logic or reason, but there's ALWAYS a reason behind what he does or wants to do and he's ready to let you know.
This morning as I was bringing Miller downstairs and the rest of the house was still sleeping she says to me, "Well . . . I'll just watch Tinka Bell 'cause ess not too woud" (it's not too loud)
One of Wilson favorite new things is knock knock jokes which are regularly tried out around the dinner table.
Wilson to us: Knock Knock
Us: Who's there?
Wilson: Interrupting cow
Us: Interrupting co--
We all laugh.
Miller to us: Knock Knock
Us: Who's there?
Miller: umm ... UNCLE JOHN!
We all laugh again.

This year we spent Easter Sunday with Phil's family. As an added treat Uncle Andy came to town. Phil and Wilson both got to get in some good male bonding over the weekend. We look forward to seeing the rest of his family in a few weeks! Wilson also got to spend the night with his great grandparents- Pop and Mim. Which also means he got to have his favorite breakfast. . . cookie dough. If you think grandparents can ruin a kid, you should see the damage a pair of great grands can do :)

. . . never give up on accessories!
This was day one of really giving it a try all day. Apparently all past successes have been completely forgotten.
I realize her clothing is a bit odd for potty training- why no shirt? Well she actually spent most of the day bottomless in a t-shirt. Until a little girl from down the street came over, so I put training pants on. Then we had tomato soup for supper- which she did a pretty good job of serving to herself. Her shirt did need to be removed however before she was allowed to "move freely about the cabin". She then became our after dinner entertainment. Slipping into her evening shoes, picking up a handbag, and going on parade. I goofed with the camera and did not get the funniest moments which were her showing off her jumping skills in the high heels.
