Sorry it's been awhile since my last post and sorry that this one doesn't have any photos. But I do have a funny story- maybe that will tide you over until I unload my camera. We've been having a great summer so far and are really enjoying swimming and seeing friends.
The highlight has probably been our trips to Memphis which is where I am as I type. This time the whole fam. came up for Daddy to get to hang out with some friends to celebrate the upcoming wedding of a good buddy. On the way up we stopped in Grenada at this little shopping center that has an indoor courtyard that the kids could run around in and let off some steam. It was about 7:30 so the only thing open was the restaurant where we were having supper. After we ordered I took the kids out to explore while we waited on the food. We started looking in the windows of this really cute kids shop. I was tying to look for things to show Wilson and Miller starts her usual one sided chatter. I started listening to the chatter and realized the word "shoes" was coming up a lot. I looked over and she was sitting on the ground taking her shoes off and absolutely drooling over the display of Mary Jane Crocs in the window. When I told her we weren't going to be getting any shoes, she laid out on the brick floor and pitched a grand fit for the whole world to see. The ladies from the restaurant came out to see what was wrong and to offer assistance (crayons, crackers, etc.). I let them know that unless they had a key to their neighbor's store, we were just going to have to ride this one out. So we did. Until the food came and she got to pitch another fit because she was sharing with me and couldn't have her own fork.
Girls.

Who would have figured an 18 mo old would have a shoe fetish??! Hilarious!
She clearly gets that attitude from her daddy-remember her daddy with the umbrella in Memphis on our church trip??? Oh the memories...that's too funny...but not if you are living it, right? Have a fun trip!
